TRIALOGUE

Wembley Park Art Trail
The concept for Trialogue was inspired by exploring how digital communication is reshaping relationships and social interactions. We were intrigued by how technology can both enhance connections and create dissonance and fragmentation. This duality formed the foundation of the work, blending past, present, and future elements to explore the evolution of communication. The iconic red telephone boxes were a unique opportunity to explore a contemporary theme juxtaposed against their strong connection to Britain’s cultural heritage and their symbolic role as tools of communication in the past. These phone booths evoke a shared sense of history and nostalgia while also serving as a new canvas for exploration. We approached the project with respect for what these iconic structures represent while also embracing the opportunity to reinterpret them. Our goal was not to diminish their historical significance but to give them new life. We aimed to bridge the gap between their original purpose and a contemporary audience’s expectations, creating a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
